We buy all kinds of cell phones and cell phone parts for recycling purposes. Including older models keypad phones and smartphones and newer models smartphones.

Are older scrap cell phones more valuable than smartphones for recycling

Older cell phones contain more precious metals than newer style smartphones.

Are scrap tablets considered cell phones

We do buy scrap tables as well, however, tablets might look pretty similar to cell phones, but scrap tablets does not have the same value of scrap cell phones for recycling

Apple and Samsung cell phones recycling

We buy both Apple and Samsung cell phones as well as all other brands. It does not mean anything to us if the Apple or Samsung phones are locked, broken etc.

Phones with or without batteries

We buy phones with or without batteries, usually phones without batteries has more value for recycling. However, it is not a great idea to take the batteries apart from the cell phones as it is harder to find recyclers who buys just cell phone batteries for recycling. We do not buy just batteries out of cell phones, due to the explosion / fire hazard during transport to our facility. So if you have cell phones with batteries you would like to sell to us, you rather leave the batteries intact to the cell phones.
